Qualche giorno fa mi sono nuovamente imbattuto nel (tristemente) noto video, dopo averlo già visto qualche mese prima. Discutendone in chat con un amico, ho detto scherzosamente che da ora in poi inizierò ogni mio discorso con “I personally believe”. Scherzosamente o no, mi sto attenendo al proposito con una certa costanza. Questo vezzo mi è già costato un commento irritato, e questo stesso post è una conseguenza diretta della mia risposta.
A few days ago I stumbled again upon the (in)famous video, after having already seen it a few months ago. Talking about it in chat with a friend, I jokingly claimed that I will start every speech of mine with “I personally believe”. Jokingly or not, I’m pretty much sticking with that intention. This habit costed me an angry comment already, and this very post is a direct consequence of my answer.
